Our very first post :]
Hey everyone! My name's Olivia, and my friend/wifey Kimmy and I are starting a blog! We had known each other for quite a few years, but never really spoke until we took an AP Photography class together, our senior year in high school. We casually spoke, and then half way through the year we suddenly became very close. From then on, we were pretty inseparable, especially over the summer. And now we're two hours apart, in different colleges. It is very sad. :[
We are both lovers of photography, and I would like to thank an amazing inspiration in my life, Hutch, our photo teacher, for being there and teaching me and bringing Kim and I together haha. Kimmy and I aren't actually married, or even dating, we're just awesome friends (just so you know).
This blog is a way for us to stay in touch, as well as a way to start a project Kim discovered. Each day, we will both take a photograph and post it to the blog, without checking what the other has posted first. The two photographs will be paired together in the same post.
We would love to give full credit to Mintforest.com creators Josh Shayne (joshshayne.com) and Nina Berry (ninaberry.com) for creating this idea. We are copying them, we know, but we loved the idea and thought it was a perfect way for two photo loving girls to stay in touch.
